Links of NoteWorld-Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms is an organization dedicated to providing opportunities for people to work on organic farms. P&R Farms regularly employs WWOOFers and welcomes any inquiries! SOIL links Canadian farmers willing to take on and train apprentices with folks wanting to work and learn on an organic farm using sustainable practices. In 2007, P&R Farms had their first SOIL apprentice! The Certified Organic Associations of BC (COABC) is the only government-approved body responsible for overseeing the BC Certified Organic Program. The COABC is designated to implement the program under the Food Choice and Quality Act. P&R Farms have been registered with the COABC since 1999. |
