The Organic Veggie Boxes

Historically, we have offered two types of veggie boxes to our customers: large ($40) and small ($30). These boxes have been packed with 10-14 different veggies and 2-4 types of fruit. Our garden in the Salmon Valley produces over 60 different types of vegetables, a large assortment of herbs, and berries. Our heated greenhouses enable us to extend growing seasons and offer you locally grown tomatoes, cucumbers, cauliflower, broccoli, and lots more! The boxes have almost always contained potatoes, carrots, a herb, and some variety of greens. Fruit included in the box is BC grown - with the exception of fruits that do not grow in BC (oranges, kiwis, etc.) - and are always certified organic. All boxes are delivered each Wednesday (College Heights and Central PG locations) and Thursday (in the Hart) to your doorstep or place of work. A one time deposit of $10 is also required for the box itself. Payment for the boxes is by cash, cheque, or pre-authorized Visa.

Although we will continue to offer the traditional "assorted" boxes, we will begin offering a custom veggie box in December 2008. The cost for the customized box will depend on box contents.

Here's how it works:

1. Sign up for our email distribution list on our website (www.pnrorganics.com) or give us a call at 561-8921 and we will sign you up. When you sign up we will collect your contact info and determine the best way for you to submit your grocery list selections: email, fax, or phone.
   
   
2. Select items for your box weekly. Weekly offerings will be distributed every Saturday morning and will need to be submitted by Sunday at midnight. A minimum order of $20 is required.
   
   
3. We receive, organize, and pack your custom box for delivery. Your delivery day will be determined by location and discussed with your registration. Throughout the winter delivery will be done in the late afternoon. You don't have to be home for delivery; just let us know where to drop off your order.
